Boomerang Bike Park Gold Coast

Nestled at the foot of Springbrook National Park in Queensland’s lush hinterland, Boomerang Farm Bike Park-lovingly called "Boomers"-has become a must-ride destination, especially for Chilean riders seeking that unique Aussie gravity park experience. This place is all about shuttling up in rugged LandCruisers, safari-style, with bikes loaded onto custom trailers before you’re whisked to the top for lap after lap of pure downhill fun.

Gravity Park For Every Rider:

Boomerang Farm is compact but packed with variety. With around a dozen purpose-built gravity trails, the park caters to everyone-from first-timers to pro freeriders. The shuttle service runs Friday through Monday, making it easy to maximize your descents without the grind of climbing (though e-bikers do sometimes tackle the fire road).

My personal Highlights:

Rodney, Black Betty, DH2 & DH3: Black and double-black trails with big jumps, rock gardens, wall rides, and serious airtime. Rodney’s Road Gap and the legendary 60-foot jump on the Big Line are not for the faint-hearted.

Mini Mega: Features like the Toilet Bowl drop keep things spicy for advanced riders.

The vibe at Boomers is pure Gold Coast-laid-back, friendly, and a bit wild. The shuttle rides themselves feel like a mini adventure, bouncing up through rainforest with riders buzzing about their next run. At the top, you’ll find trails clearly marked by name and difficulty, all funneling back to the shuttle pickup for effortless laps.

Must have:

Full-face helmet and pads are highly recommended, especially if you’re eyeing the bigger features.

Trail bikes are fine for flow lines, but enduro or downhill bikes are best for the gnarliest descents.

The park is open year-round, but summer can get hot-plan accordingly

After your ride, refuel at the Sapphire Bean Café next door, or explore nearby Springbrook National Park for waterfalls and ancient rainforestsBoomerang Farm Bike Park is a hidden gem where every rider can find their flow, push their limits, and soak up a uniquely Australian mountain bike adventure.
